Protecting your data matters to us. In this privacy policy we explain, clearly and honestly, which personal data we collect when you use our website vip-boost.de and our services, what we use that data for and which service providers we share it with.

We only collect data that we need to operate our service and fulfill your orders. We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers named in this policy, and only to the extent necessary to provide our service.

2. Hosting and Infrastructure

Server Hosting

Our website and our database run on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. Hetzner processes the data stored there exclusively on our behalf for the purpose of technical operation.

Cloudflare (Reverse Proxy, CDN, DNS)

Access to our website is routed through Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare acts as a reverse proxy, content delivery network (CDN) and DNS provider. In doing so, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks and abuse.

Server Logs

Each time our website is accessed, technically necessary access data is automatically recorded and stored in server log files. This includes your IP address, the time of access, the browser and operating system used (user agent) and the requested URL. This data is required to provide the website, ensure its secure operation and detect abuse. We do not combine this data with other data sources.

3. Account and Registration

Registration with Email and Password

You can create a customer account to place and manage orders. We use the software better-auth for account management. When you register with an email address and password, we store your email address and your password in hashed (encrypted) form. Your password in plain text is never known to us at any point.

Sign in with Google

Alternatively, you can sign in using your Google account (OAuth procedure of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). If you use this option, we receive your name and email address from Google in order to set up and manage your account. This sign-in only takes place if you actively choose it.

Storage in Our Database

Your account and order data are stored in a PostgreSQL database on our server at Hetzner in Germany. The database is not publicly accessible over the internet.

4. Order Data

When you place an order, we process the Google review URL you provide (the target of your order), the order and product data (e.g. the selected service, quantity and time) as well as any review text you optionally enter. We need this data to carry out your order and to bill you for it.

5. AI-Assisted Text Suggestions

We offer an optional feature that lets you generate a suggestion for a review text. If you use this feature, the details you enter for it (e.g. industry or content preferences) are transmitted to the Google Gemini API of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA in order to generate a text suggestion. If you do not use this feature, no data is transmitted for this purpose.

6. Payment Processing

To pay for your order, we use external payment service providers: debt-flow.io (embedded via an iframe) and Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd). You enter your payment data directly with the respective payment provider, where it is processed in accordance with their data protection provisions.

We do not store any full credit card or account details on our servers. From the payment provider we only receive information on whether a payment was successful, along with the details needed to match the payment to your order.

7. Email Delivery

To send transactional and contact emails (e.g. order confirmations or replies to your inquiries), we operate our own SMTP mail server at mail.vip-boost.de. Your email address and the content of the message are processed for the purpose of delivery.

8. Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address in order to send you the requested information. We use this address exclusively for sending the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time – for example via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or by contacting us. Once you unsubscribe, we stop sending it.

9. Contact and Support

If you contact us via a contact form, by email or through a support ticket, we process the details you provide (e.g. name, email address and the content of your inquiry) in order to handle your request and for any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

10. Cookies and Local Storage

We use only technically necessary cookies and comparable storage techniques that are required to operate the website and your session. We set these without separate consent, because without them essential functions of the website could not be provided. Specifically, these are:

  • "vip-boost-consent" – stores your cookie selection or your consent decision.
  • "vip-boost-session" – keeps you signed in during your session.
  • "vip-boost-theme" – stores your display preference (theme).
  • "vip-boost-cart" – stores the contents of your cart in your browser’s local storage (localStorage).

No analytics, marketing or tracking services are currently active (e.g. no Google Analytics). Such cookie categories are disabled by default and would only be loaded after your explicit consent – however, nothing is currently set up for this.

You can delete cookies stored in your browser at any time and restrict the setting of cookies. Please note that not all functions of the website may then be available.

11. Sharing of Data

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes. We share it only with the service providers named in this privacy policy (hosting, CDN, sign-in, the AI text feature, payment and email delivery) and only to the extent necessary to provide our service.

Some of these service providers are based in the USA. By using our services, your data is therefore also processed there.

12. Storage Period

We store personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes named in this policy or as required by retention obligations (e.g. tax or accounting requirements). After that, the data is deleted. You can have your customer account and the associated data deleted at any time by contacting us.

13. Your Rights

You can contact us at any time to:

  • obtain information about the data stored about you,
  • have inaccurate data corrected,
  • have your data deleted.
